In accordance with EXEDY Mission Statement "Creation of Fulfillment" and based on the recognition of our responsibility to give full attention to the fact that our business activities would inevitably influence nature and the global environment, we have obtained ISO 14001 and have settled on EXEDY Environmental Principle and Environmental Policy in order to strengthen our environment protective activities.

EXEDY pursues its Mission Statement "Creation of Fulfillment" to realize the symbiosis of nature and society. In every area of our operations, we endeavor to achieve our goal to be environmentally friendly to our society and the earth.

EXEDY Environmental Policy

In line with the EXEDY Environmental Ideology, we perform our environment management system in the area of production, products, and service, to minimize any environmental impact and to promote continuous Kaizen improvement.

1. We will observe environmental laws, regulations, rules and requirements.
2. We will minimize the production of waste and residual product, and maximize effective use and recycling of resources and materials.
3. Considering for the environment in the product development and production, we promote global warming prevention and we dedicate ourselves to eliminate or reduce the substances of concern.
4. We support and participate in activities aiming toward environmental improvement.
5. This environmental policy shall be widely acknowledged by every person at EXEDY and is disclosed and accessible to the public.

Renewal of ISO 14001 Certification

EXEDY has established its environmental management system and all business units of EXEDY had obtained their ISO 14001 certification in June 2000. Three-year activities since then have been evaluated and were renewed for the second time in June 2006. We will continuously work to prevent any environment problems and to reduce the burden to the environment.
